Grilled Beef Tenderloin with Fischer & Wieser Texas Pit BBQ Sauce
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Marinate Time: 12-24 hours
Grill Time: 25-30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 beef tenderloin
- ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon of fajita seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 to 1-1/2 cups Fischer & Wieser Texas Pit BBQ Sauce
Instructions:
Season beef; place in zip-sealing bag and let sit in refrigerator overnight. When ready to grill, preheat grill to medium-high. Allow tenderloin to reach room temperature while grill is heating. When grill is ready, oil it so the meat won’t stick. Place tenderloin on and grill, basting frequently with Fischer & Wieser Texas Pit BBQ Sauce. Turn frequently while grilling; allow meat to reach internal temperature (when tested with meat thermometer) for maximum flavor and tenderness of 130 degrees, remove from the grill and place on a platter. Allow the tenderloin to rest under aluminum foil for 15 minutes before carving. When ready, place on serving plate. Slice and serve with more Fischer & Wieser Texas Pit BBQ Sauce. Serves 4
