Cajun Cola Porkchops
Ingredients:
- Sea salt and black pepper
- 1 8oz can of tomato sauce
- 1 cup of Cola
- 1 cup of Hot Pepper Peach Preserves
- Dash of Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp Catch a Fire Cajun Seasoning
- 2 TBSP light brown sugar
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup chopped onion
Instructions:
Dust the pork chops with salt and pepper; brown in cooking oil if desired. In a large bowl, blend the tomato sauce, cola, Hot Pepper Peach Preserves, Worcestershire sauce, Catch a Fire Cajun Seasoning, light brown sugar and garlic powder. Taste and fine-tune seasonings to your liking; set aside. Bathe each chop in the sauce and drop into slow cooker. Top with chopped onions. Pour the remainder of the sauce over all, cover and cook on low setting for 4 to 6 hours or until desired doneness. Remove the pork chops from the slow cooker with a large spatula. Serve with Slap Ya Mama French Fries.
