Cauliflower Burgers
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cauliflower head, finely chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 2 scallions, peeled and chopped
- 1 teaspoons Smoked Chipotle Sea Salt
- 1/2 black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 2 teaspoons Black Peppered Jalapeno Mustard
- 2 tablespoons Extravagonzo Roasted Garlic Culinary Oil + 1 tablespoon Extravagonzo Roasted Garlic Culinary Oil for cooking
- 3/4 cup oat flour + 2-3 tablespoons extra for coating patties before frying
- Up to 1/4 cup water depending on thickness
Instructions:
Combine the cauliflower, scallions, and bell pepper in a large bowl. Add the seasonings, mix, and then stir in the Black Peppered Jalapeno Mustard, Extravagonzo Roasted Garlic Culinary Oil, and oat flour. Use clean hands to massage the flour into the veggies so that it becomes sticky. Try to form a patties, and if it’s hard to stick it together, add a tablespoon of water at a time until it sticks well together.
Form patties and pat both sides with extra oat flour.
In a saucepan over medium-high heat, add the Extravagonzo Roasted Garlic Culinary Oil. Carefully place the patties in the Extravagonzo Roasted Garlic Culinary Oil and cook for 8-10 minutes before flipping. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Serve on a bun, or by itself with a side of chopped tomatoes. Enjoy with your favorite condiments!
