Philly Cheese Steak Jalapeno Poppers
Ingredients
- 1- 5 oz steak, diced (I used ribeye; better quality, better result!)
- 1/2 red bell pepper, fine diced
- 1 small onion, fine diced
- 12 jalapenos, halved and seeded
- Cheese Whiz, or equal.
- 1 T Extravagonzo Roasted Garlic Culinary Oil
- Jalapeno Burger & Steak Seasoning
How to make it
- Bake jalapenos in 350 degrees for approx 20-25 minutes
- In a skillet, add Extravagonzo Roasted Garlic Culinary Oil and heat on medium high
- Add onion and red pepper, and saute until onion is transparent
- Season steak with Jalapeno Burger & Steak Seasoning to taste, and add to veggies and cook until brown. Remove any excess liquid.
- Remove jalapenos from the oven, and generously squirt cheese in each
- Spoon steak filling into each, pushing gently into cheese filling to hold it all in place, and then top with more cheese
- Bake for addition 10 minutes
- Turn on the game, and enjoy with a cold beer!
