Blair’s Crystal Death Hot Sauce is absolutely well placed in our Weapons Grade category of hot sauces. The heat in Blair’s Crystal Death Hot Sauce comes from pure capsaicin crystals. So, you can start to see why it’s so hot. The distinctive fruity flavor comes from Natural Strawberry Flavoring, Essences of Elderberry, Goji Berry, Passion Fruit. On his labels he lists his sauces with a thermometer type reference. Blair’s Crystal Death is the hottest out of 12 “Death” products. When you get to this heat level though, it all becomes relative.

At Peppers of Key West, we love to use Blair’s Death Sauces on wings. We will make many batches using his sauces and start out with the milder (again, a relative term) and work our way up the scale. Most folks never make it to Blair’s Crystal Death Hot Sauce covered wings, but those that do get to experience a level of heat that few people can bear for more than one wing. You can still enjoy the heat for a bit longer by using the ever so helpful dressing dip (blue cheese or ranch) to help cool it off a tad.
