Product Description
First things first- this is not a sauce! It is a food additive. That means you should use Pure Cap to heat up anything you want to add heat to, not to dip your chips into. Pure Cap is Capsaisin (the stuff that makes peppers hot) and vegetable oil to stabilize it. It maxes out the Peppers of Key West Heat Level Scale at 10 out of 10.
Just a few drops of Pure Cap added to anything you are cooking will spark it up like a wildfire in the Santa Anna winds. No joke, this stuff is HOT. When I say a few drops, I mean it. In fact, the bottle actually has a dropper tip which should tell you right off the bat that you shouldn’t pour it into anything.
What’s great about Pure Cap is that it’s just Capsaisin, no spices. So, you can add it any of your cooking without changing the flavor. It will absolutely change the heat level, but the flavor will remain untouched. That’s a great thing for folks who love to cook and want their own work and vision for the meal to shine through, but also want to kick their guests in the pants a bit. One drop added to a batch of salsa will assure you that Pure Cap does what it says it will. If you decide to ignore my recommendations about using this sparingly, would you mind putting Peppers of Key West in your will?
