Product Description
Bourbon Q Barrel Select Kentucky Bourbon Barbecue Sauce is in a class by itself thanks to the addition of Kentucky bourbon to a recipe that is equal parts sweet, smoky, and tangy. Barrel Select Kentucky Bourbon Barbecue Sauce is robust in its base of tomato and Worcestershire, while the smoky note and heat of Chipotle merge with the hearty flavor of roasted garlic. This is one smokin’ sauce.
Check out Barrel Select Kentucky Bourbon Barbecue Sauce for all of your grilling needs. It works beautifully with steak, ribs, chicken, and tuna. Shake some on your scrambled eggs to add an unbeatable smoky taste. But my favorite use of Barrel Select Kentucky Bourbon Barbecue Sauce is as a marinade for London broil. Trust me, you don’t want to miss it!
I’ve come to be known as a barbecue purist around Peppers of Key West. For me, the ever-popular gas grill just doesn’t cut it. People have become so used to eating food that’s been grilled quickly with propane as the heat source that they just don’t notice the artificial, chemical-y taste it imparts. When I use Barrel Select Kentucky Bourbon Barbecue Sauce, or any barbecue sauce for that matter, I insist on using real wood. You’ll find all manner of natural wood- mesquite, apple wood, cherry wood, hickory, and more- from any large home store, and the results are worth the extra time and expense.
Now here’s an idea that you probably haven’t come across before. A friend of mine who lives on Marathon Key (about a forty minute drive from Key West) has a natural and cost-effective solution to real deal barbecue. If you live in the islands, you know that palm trees are constantly shedding fronds. They tend to be a nuisance, but not if you’re the grilling type! My friend simply collects the fronds, lets them dry for a few weeks, and uses the stuff for his heat source! So get creative, because once you’ve gone natural, you’ll never go back!
OK, so now that you’re dying for some authentic barbecue, Bourbon Q Barrel Select Kentucky Bourbon Barbecue Sauce is gonna knock your socks off.
