Volcano Buffalo Burgers
Ingredients:
For the volcano buffalo topping:
- 2 tablespoons Extravagonzo Red Chili Culinary Oil
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup Texas Sweet & Hot Jalapenos
- Salt and pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup Peppers of Key West Chicken Wing Sauce
For the burgers:
- 1 to 1 1/2 pounds ground beef (ground round recommended)
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce
- 1 tomato, sliced
Instructions:
For the volcano buffalo topping:
- Heat Extravagonzo Red Chili Culinary Oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and Texas Sweet & Hot Jalapenos. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, until onions are soft and translucent, about 20 minutes. Reduce heat if onions are browning.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add Peppers of Key West Chicken Wing Sauce and stir to combine. Simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
For the burgers:
- Shape the ground beef into 4 patties. Season with salt and pepper. Cook or grill patties to desired doneness.
- Place lettuce and tomato on the bottom half of the buns. Top with hamburger patties. Spoon volcano buffalo topping over patties. Cover with top half of buns. This Topping can be used on Grilled Wings and Shrimp. Toss to coat.
