Product Description
Marie Sharp’s Fiery Hot Habanero Hot Sauce uses the perfect blend of carrots and habanero’s to create an unforgettable flavor that will spice up any of your favorite dishes. Marie has cultivated a coveted stash of habanero peppers in the foothills of the Maya Mountains in Belize. Her homemade recipe was among the first commercially produced sauces to use carrots and is a staple at dinner tables all over South America. With Marie’s special habanero’s, you get a sauce that is quite hot. Coming in at a 5.5 out of 10 on the Peppers of Key West Heat Level Rating Scale, you will find a heated kick from just a few drops. We have found that a hot sauce heat level of 5 is just about where the average person bows out and raises the white flag. Fortunately for you, and us, you’re not the average person and love the heat so this hot sauce will just get you going even more.
The habanero peppers in this sauce really shine through. There’s not much of a delay in the heat, but you do get to enjoy the earthy flavor of the habanero’s for a moment before it kicks in. After that, you’ll get a nice build up of heat across your mouth and it will settle towards the back of your tongue, just where we like it, right? Our favorite use for Marie Sharp’s Fiery Hot Habanero Hot Sauce is to spice up our salsa’s here at Peppers of Key West. It adds a serious heat without changing the whole flavor of our salsa, which we work hard to make just right.
